These Terms govern your use of AFK (“the app”), a macOS application provided by 넥스트액션클럽 (NextActionClub) (“we,” “us”). By downloading or using AFK, you agree to these Terms.
1. The service
AFK is a macOS menu-bar app that keeps your Mac awake while you step away, shows a full-screen cover so others can't read your screen, and notifies you when a chosen process exits or a timer ends. Everything runs locally on your Mac.
2. License & payment
AFK is a one-time purchase of US$9 — a lifetime license, not a subscription. On purchase you receive a license key; enter it in the app to unlock it. Payments are processed by Polar Software Inc. as our Merchant of Record, and your purchase is also subject to Polar's terms.
3. Refunds
If you're not happy, email us at nextactionclubkr@gmail.com within 7 days of purchase and we'll refund you. Refunds are issued through Polar, and your license key is deactivated on refund.
4. The privacy cover is not security
AFK's cover hides your screen from casual view (shoulder-surfing). It is not encryption, screen lock, or a security control, and it can be dismissed without a password. For real protection, lock your Mac. Don't rely on AFK to safeguard sensitive or confidential information.
5. Acceptable use
Use AFK on Macs you own or are authorized to use. Don't resell, redistribute, or share your license key. We may deactivate keys that are abused or charged back.
6. Availability & changes
We provide AFK “as is,” without warranties of any kind. We may update, change, or discontinue features, and we may update these Terms; material changes will be posted here.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from a missed notification, a task that slept or failed, or data not saved. AFK is a convenience tool — not a guaranteed-delivery or safety-critical service.
